Container loading
As the shipper, we are the responsible party for the packing and loading of your cargo into the shipping container it will be transported in. Improper loading of cargo can lead to damage of your goods. Customs may examine your container if an x-ray shows improper and unprofessional loading as it may be a sign of concealing unusual items. This will cause an intensive exam of shipment which may cause additional delays and significant expenses. The containers have standardized dimensions. They can be loaded and unloaded, stacked, transported efficiently over long distances, and transferred from one mode of transport to another—container ships, rail transport flatcars, and semi-trailer trucks—without being opened. The handling system is completely mechanized so that all handling is done with cranes and special forklift trucks. All containers are numbered and tracked using computerized systems.
